Well it has been an exciting couple of months. Grandma set up a new website www.nicidamon.com and finished her book "Do You Believe in Always". It has lots of stories about Grandma when she was young, about your grandfather Nick, and mommy of course. It took a long time to do but it was fun to get finished and know that other people can read the stories.
There haven't been any new pictures of you since Shellee stopped entering new posts in her blog, but I sometimes see pictures on websites or FaceBook. I can't wait until you are both old enough to have your own internet presence. We will have fun talking back and forth and seeing photos of each other.
Well, it's Christmas today and I'm going to go over to the daughter's home of my friend Matt. There are four grandchildren there, but they aren't ever as much fun as you would have been.
I love you both

Almost Thanksgiving!
My goodness, can it already be almost Thanksgiving? It looks like you two had a wonderful vacation this year in Italy. Grandma went to Florida again, and guess what? She bought a new house. It's big enough for you both to visit someday and stay for a little while. We can enjoy the beach, drive up to Orlando for DisneyWorld and really have some fun together.
I am going back after Christmas to start getting the things that I will need - sheets, towels, dishes, all the stuff needed to make a house a home. I won't be living there for another couple of years but at least it will be ready.
I will be spending Thanksgiving at my friend's daughters house with their family and children. It will be really nice, but I will wish the children were you both.
As always, I miss you both and think about you almost every day. It seems like I always say that, but I mean it so much. Each time I see your pictures, or think of you, my heart hurts more. But someday, somehow, we will be together again.
Love,
Grandma

Happy Birthday Taylor!!
Happy Happy birthday my precious boy! You are getting so big - and you are getting all your new teeth at last! What a lovely smile you have and you looked so happy with your cake in Greece. So happy you got to have another vacation to Greece. You and Emmerson looked like you were having so much fun.
Emmerson - how big you are getting too. Your hair is so long, and with lovely curls in it. I can see you are still loving your pink! How funny. I will tell you a story. When you were born I bought you a lot of pretty little dresses with lace and flowers on them. When your mom saw them, she gave them back to me because they were too "girly". As you got older, all you wanted was to dress in pretty little dresses, and princess costumes and pink stuff. Ha Ha Ha!! A real girly girl just as you were meant to be.
You both looked like you had so much fun on your Greek vacation to Kos, meeting friends from all over the world. That's the way it works, you know. Getting to know everyone from everywhere is important in becoming a good person with broad thinking.
Keep after your schoolwork, stay active, and enjoy life while it is there for you to enjoy. I love you both very much and miss you more than it seems possible. Every day we don't know one another is a great loss. Someday, somehow, you will find me and it will all come together as it is meant to.
Love and kisses

Happy Fourth of July!!
Happy 4th of July my dear ones. I know England and Monaco don't celebrate, but it is the Happy Birthday for the United States. Lots of fireworks this year in New Jersey and New York and Grandma was in a perfect spot to see them all.
It has finally gotten nice and warm. The sun is very nice and the sky is blue (when it isn't raining, that is). Lots and lots of rain this year so the grass and flowers and trees are all nice and green and blooming with color.
Grandma is enjoying spending weekends in New York going to the theater and the movies and concerts by bands she liked when she was younger. Do you have any favorite bands right now?
I know Taylor's birthday is just a week away....I will send Happy Birthday wishes out to you, flying through the sky, with lots of hugs and kisses.
I saw the pictures of you both skiing and was very proud of you both for getting out there and doing so well. Between skiing, and tennis, and gymnastics you are staying very fit!
I love you both very much and always miss you.

Summer is Trying
Here it is almost Memorial Day (end of May) in the States, and summer still hasn't raised it's pretty head. Spring flowers were a bit of a bust - too much rain and too little sunshine and warm temperatures. I think there has only been one day when i haven't worn a coat or jacket to work this year!!
But I'm sure warm weather will come soon, and I've pulled out the beach chairs and umbrella in anticipation of the arrival. I think Matt and I are going to the beach this weekend so we will enjoy some nice music, great sunshine, the sounds of the ocean, and a walk along the boardwalk. This year I'm getting some cotton candy - I missed it last year!!
The circus was in town a month or so ago and it was fun to go see all the animals do their tricks. There were high wire walkers, aerialists who hung by their hair, strong men, elephants, goats, dogs, even a pig or two. And clowns of course! A very nice Ringling Brothers circus to be sure.
We went to see Cher in her concert tour. You won't know the music, but someday you may hear it and enjoy both the new songs and the old ones. It is nice to know someone my age is still rocking the stadiums and selling out the crowds!! She just added another 35 tour dates because she has sold out every single show. I got some wonderful pictures too.
Well, I'm going to go back to work now. It's a tough job - but somebody has to do it, right? I love you both very much and miss you every single day. You are never, ever, far from my thoughts and I know you will find me someday and be in my arms again.
Love and kisses

Happy Birthday Emmerson
Happy birthday my beautiful little granddaughter. You are getting so big I would hardly know you. What a great job you are doing on the new bicycle you got for Christmas. And your swimming looked like you are doing so well.
You know, my birthday is tomorrow. When you were born I hoped you would wait just one more day so we could celebrate on the same day. Unfortunately you were very anxious to come out and meet your brother so OUT you came to play.
Taylor, you too are doing a great job on your new bike and I am proud of the ribbons you got in gymnastics again this year. What a smart and fun young man you have turned out to be.
As always, I love you both very much and miss you. We will see one another again, I just know it.

Winter Weather
What a winter this has been. New York has had almost 30 inches of snow this year in seven snowstorms. Grandma's car has been buried in snow for at least a month!! Lots of boots and mittens this year for sure.
It has been nice seeing all the things you are both doing are doing. Another gymnastics medal for Taylor! Hurrah!! And both of you learning to ride your new bicycles Santa got you for Christmas. Another Hurrah!! You are both getting so big I can hardly believe it.
Swimming weather will be here before you know it. I think we will go to the beach again this year several times and, I hope, down to a nice tropical island like last year. It would be fun to sail around the Caribbean again on a big sailboat.
I miss you both very much. My friend's grandson is learning his ABC's and I remember Taylor when he said them for me so I could take a video. I showed it to little Ian, and he pointed and laughed, then said his ABC's with you.
I love you very much and hope someday to see you again.
